In May 2019, I left my career in higher education to become an energy healer
The roots of this major life change reach back into my childhood. I was highly intuitive and sensitive to energy. I could sense the energy in homes.
Those kinds of things weren’t really acceptable in mainstream society back then. So, for many years I set my intuitive and healing abilities to the side. I eventually ended up in a university working in international education.
In 2012, a close friend introduced me to energy healing and I decided to take a certification program in Eden Energy Medicine. As soon as I took the first class, I fell in love with energy work. I could use my intuition and ability to sense energy. I could change people’s lives in ways I didn’t think were possible. Improve health. Shift mental and emotional blocks. A couple of years later, I started working with Biofield Tuning. Later, I learned how to energetically clear homes and businesses. I started clutter coaching, helping people clear the emotional blocks that were holding them back, and giving them strategies to declutter in an easy, organic way.
But I still had a lot of my own mental and emotional blocks. I worried that people might think that energy work was strange, and didn’t fully step into all my abilities. I stayed in my job for 22 years and kept my energy work as a small side business.
In 2019, I felt pulled very strongly to leave my position and do energy work full time. I knew the world needed me to completely focus on this work. But I couldn’t see a way to make it happen. I didn’t know how I would manage financially without a steady income. I struggled emotionally to hand the responsibility for my students over to someone else.
I decided to enroll in a series of intense energy clearing programs and everything that I thought was holding me back, just fell away. All my worries and fears disappeared. Suddenly, the right candidate appeared to fill my position and I became eligible to withdraw retirement funds just at the time I wanted to leave. I left my position and stepped into my calling as a healer and energy worker. It was as if I had jumped into a new version of my life.
I love my life now. I use energy healing, sound healing, and emotional clearing to release clients’ energetic and emotional blockages, I clear negative and blocked energy from homes and businesses and infuse them with energies that support people’s life goals. I coach people in decluttering to create homes that nurture them and support them to live their best lives.
